The Intermune decision by the FDA increased the risk that a positive advisory committee vote does not correlate to FDA approval. Several US investors bet that the positive advisory vote meant that Intermune’s drug (Esbriet) was going to be approved and when the FDA turned it down those investors lost lots of money. This will have an effect on the market’s reaction to future advisory committee votes. However, we believe Ceplene’s chances of FDA approval are not affected by the Intermune situation as the two drugs have very different indications and are under the different history.

Regarding the need for financing, there is little that I can say at this point beyond my public statements. We are examining all of our options.



No one in the Company is permitted to trade in EpiCept stock at the moment because there is a trading blackout in effect. I agree that last week presented a buying opportunity but unfortunately we weren’t able to participate in it personally.
